Prepare Steam to receive a skin
Your item is transferred through a Steam trade offer. Check your account before paying: trade restrictions may prevent delivery.
1. Make your inventory public
Check Steam profile privacy settings and visibility of your Counter-Strike 2 inventory. The seller needs to be able to transfer the item to the intended account.
2. Check your Trade URL
Use a current Trade URL for the intended account. If you regenerated the link, replace the old one. Submit it only through the designated order form.
3. Check Steam Guard and restrictions
Make sure Steam Guard is configured and Steam allows you to trade. Password, device and other security changes may affect trading. Check current restrictions in Steam before paying.
4. Verify the incoming trade
Match the full item name to your order, including exterior, StatTrak™ and Souvenir. Never share your password or Steam Guard codes. Check delivery timing in the seller’s terms before paying.
